The 2013 Conference was held at Durham 9-12th September.
The conference considered the reception of Augustine and Aquinas in their conflictual form as Catholic culture wars (John McDade) and gendered cosmology (Tina Beattie), as well as their enriching expression for considering questions of political theology (Oliver O’Donovan), the doctrine of creation (Janet Martin Soskice), the everyday Christian (Nicholas M. Healey) and the task of theology itself (Fainche Ryan). Crucial context was provided on the history of ideas by Richard Price and Lewis Ayres.
