The Catholic Theological Association of Great Britain is a professional association for those who are actively involved in the academic promotion and study of theology through their teaching, preaching, and writing. We are principally academic theologians, but members are also active in chaplaincy, pastoral theology, and other fields related to theology, such as history, literature, and philosophy. We organise an annual conference and other events, and facilitate networking among Catholic theologians in the UK and Europe. Membership is open to Catholics who are involved in the academic study of theology and religion at post-graduate level and beyond, and non-Catholics whose field of study is Catholic theology.
