2017: The Age of Reform

Reflecting critically on the significance of the Reformation for theology in the churches today.

4th-7th September 2017
St Chad’s College, Durham

2017 marks the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther’s 95 Theses. This year’s conference explored the ongoing significance of the Reformation for the life of the Church today, with contributors from Catholic and Reformed traditions bringing theological, liturgical and historical perspectives. You can read the President’s report on the conference here. The conference papers will be published in the March 2018 issue of New Blackfriars.

Next year’s conference will be held at The Hayes Conference Centre, Swanwick, Derbyshire, from 3rd to 6th September 2018.

The CTA is always ready to welcome new members who are actively involved in some way in the promotion of theology through their teaching.
