‘Words and the Word: Word, Image, Ritual in religion and life’
The 2019 CTA conference will take place at St Mary’s University, Twickenham, 2-5 September.
We are delighted to announce the following keynote speakers:

- Professor Stephen Bullivant (St Mary’s)
- Dr Alistair Lockheart (Cambridge)
- Professor Janet Soskice (Cambridge)
Professor Anthony Towey (St Mary’s) will lead a workshop on the language of faith in the RE curricula in schools.
We will be inviting short papers of 2000-3000 words (20 minutes) on the theme, and we particularly welcome proposals from postgraduate students.
