Gerard Hughes, SJ, died on 2 November 2021. Formerly lecturer in philosophy and moral theology at Heythrop College, where he was also head of the philosophy department from 1973 until 1998, he was appointed Master of Campion Hall, Oxford, in 1998, a post he held until he retired in 2018.
His funeral Mass will be live-streamed from Farm St church, at 2pm on Monday 22 November 2021.
